In many philosophical and spiritual traditions, particularly within Islamic thought, Qalb refers not only to the physical heart but to the inner centre of perception, transformation, and knowing. It is the place where emotions, intuition, and spiritual awareness converge.

Shift always occurrs first within the heart before it manifests visually or externally. The journey of the Qalb is one of continuous turning, softening, hardening, awakening, and renewal. This mirrors the narrative arc of my project, where transformation is not linear but cyclical, and every visual phase reflects a deeper inner movement.
